AnyRover Mini V2 – Mobile Access Router new with 4G / LTE

Scalable high-speed router with integrated GPS receiver, vehicle CAN-BUS connection as well as Bluetooth and WLAN option

The AnyRover Mini V2 - Mobile Access Router (MAR) is an optimised solution for professional use in vehicles. It is prepared for accessing vehicle data and offers GPS tracking functions as well as scalable, secure communication. The powerful and expandable device enables seamless integration into IPsec and OpenVPN networks or the Internet. Advanced security functions are available with the integrated firewall and NAT support.

Thanks to MobileIP in accordance with IETF RFC 5944, the AnyRover Mini V2 always remains accessible under the same IP address - regardless of the technology on which the current connection to the Internet is based. The AnyRover Mini V2 always remains connected to its home agent and can therefore be reached from the outside. The AnyRover Mini V2 can even cope with different encryption technologies for each transmission technology.

The AnyRover Mini V2 is based on a 32-bit single core processor platform, which can be clocked at up to 454 MHz.

With support for 4G (LTE), the AnyRover Mini V2 enables video transmissions or VoIP communication via mobile networks in real time, as used for example in traffic monitoring or professional voice applications.

The AnyRover Mini V2 can optionally be equipped with an integrated dual band (2.4 + 5 GHz) 802.11 a/b/g/n WLAN option or a Bluetooth interface. In pure WLAN mode, you can choose between a dual band solution and a single band (2.4 GHz) solution with two antennas. A Bluetooth / WLAN solution is also available as an option. With WPA2 (AES) encryption and 802.1x/EAP authentication, the system guarantees secure WLAN communication.

The operating temperature of the AnyRover Mini V2 is -40 °C to +75 °C. The flexible supply voltage range of 8 to 52 volts enables easy installation in various vehicles.

The highly sensitive GPS receiver can also be optionally integrated into the router with dead reckoning. The use of dead reckoning enables uninterrupted navigation and localisation even in places where there is no GPS signal, e.g. in tunnels, multi-storey car parks or under buildings, thanks to extended sensor technology.

FAKRA connectors are available for the antenna connections. Other antenna connectors (e.g. SMA/FME/RP-SMA) are available on request.

Furthermore, the AnyRover Mini V2 offers a configurable connection with a universal input and output interface (GPIO). This allows external hardware (e.g. relays or lamps) to be controlled or digital signals to be analysed.

The AnyRover Mini V2 is prepared to query and forward data from a vehicle via a CAN bus module (also available). In this way, odometer readings, for example, can be transferred to a central database application, which enables major cost savings in vehicle service planning.

An internal slot allows for customised expansion cards. Additional interfaces are conceivable, for example, to connect existing applications to a server via the AnyRover Mini V2.

The behaviour of the AnyRover Mini V2 is set via a configuration file. In addition, the MAR can be configured from a central server based on its SIM card or via SMS. The system is based on a Linux OS and therefore allows software extensions and software updates. Additional functions are easy to integrate, which enables the optimal integration of specific customer requirements. If a lot of storage space is required for applications, this can be expanded using a microSD card.
